Offline address books An offline address book (OAB) is a collection of address lists that can be downloaded and used in Outlook by users that are disconnected from the Exchange Online organization. Note: Email address policies are available in Exchange Online, but only for Microsoft groups.
Microsoft Outlook has many new features and enhancements that are related to the offline address book. By default, Outlook uses a cached mode configuration. So, I created a folder to share (and did so using the "Share Contacts" method in Outlook) and have saved several contact groups for all. I can also see the new shared contact folder (and all of its groups) in my outlook Address Book. However, while my team members do see the Shared contact folder and can view/edit any of the contact groups in. Sice it's not possible to tell which "Contacts" entry in the address book list is the real Contacts folder, remove them both, then right-click the Contacts folder, choose Propoerties, select the Outlook Address Book tab, and check the box labeled "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book".
